PRESIDENT REPORT

COLORADO’S HUNTING HERITAGE UNDER THREAT

(and this is everyone’s battle)

In the past five years, there have been numerous attempts to curtail the hunting of Colorado Mountain Lions and Bobcats. Now, with Proposed Initiative 91, the stakes are even higher. This initiative seeks to let Colorado voters determine the future of science-based wildlife management, potentially undermining the authority of Colorado’s Wildlife Managers (CPW) and the rights of sportsmen and women.

Misleading language, such as “Trophy Hunting,” is being used to sway public opinion. This isn’t just about fair chase or management concerns; it’s a deliberate attempt to misinform.

STAND WITH US AGAINST THIS INITIATIVE

The Coloradans for Responsible Wildlife Management, a 501(C-4) organization, is committed to legally, logistically, and educationally countering this initiative. Our goal is to prevent the spread of such agendas that could eventually lead to a complete hunting ban.

This isn’t solely about Mountain Lions and Bobcats or just Colorado. It’s a broader battle for our hunting heritage.

This is the only way we are keeping our membership up to date with the current information and events on a timely fashion because of the rising costs of printing and postage and the unreliability of delivery website. You can renew your Membership or Join our association. We also have merchandise that is available for purchase. This tool has been very effective and efficient so far. Please make sure you continue to checkout the website for updated information. This will be the most current.
