THIS book, the first Railways Remembered title in what will be a series covering specific regions and collections of photographs, certainly sets a high standard.
All of the images (around 200 in total) are in colour, many of them from the Online Transport Archive (a UK charity to which the authors, both trustees of the organisation, have donated their fees).
