Ryuichi Sakamoto

World-renowned composer, music producer, artist, and actor Ryuichi Sakamoto passed away on March 28 at the age of 71 after a two-year battle with cancer. Sakamoto is most recognized for his work with the Yellow Magic Orchestra and his film scores, including 1983’s Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence.
