Sounds of the garden

Thank you so much for your article Sensory Delights, in your 5 September issue. I am blind and my garden is one of the few things I can enjoy as much as I did before I lost my sight, three years ago.

The scent of the lavender, honeysuckle and lilies, the rustling of the grasses and the sound of the wind chimes. Also the buzzing of the bees and the birdsong, which I was unaware of when I was sighted. A garden
