I was interested to see a reference to Linguaphone on a recent Rosemary page [1 August issue]. I worked at the Linguaphone Institute in Regent Street, London, for 10 years in the 1950s. We taught language by records and I learnt Italian while I was there. I made many friends and we used to wave across Regent Street to the men working in the drawing offices of Short Bros & Harland!
