One of the big names speaking at the Gen.T Summit was Pico Iyer. Born in 1957 in Oxford, England to Indian immigrant parents—philosopher and political theorist Raghavan N Iyer and religious scholar Nandini Nanak Mehta—Siddharth Pico Raghavan Iyer was auspiciously named after the Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, as well as Italian Renaissance philosopher Giovanni Pico della Mirandola.
