TEEN ANGEL

ROSS Chisnall had an interesting start to hot rodding back in the very early '70s, aged about 15. That was when his mates were repowering 100E Prefects, Humber 80s and Ford10s and then upgrading to Mk1 and 2 Cortinas.

Occasionally, he used to wag school with some mates and chill out at the “new” Hot Rod clubrooms in Stratford and got hooked by all the rods that were evolving in the day. To better understand the evolution of Teen Angel, these are the words of Ross himself:

“We have no history of the car from 1936 to 1966. It had the 221 cubic inch 85 hp V8 and would have had a very sedate life until then. All that was to change.
