Editor’s Letter

The new year is about new beginnings – whether it’s a New Year’s resolution or a refresh of your mind, body and soul. For me, this year is my biggest new beginning yet: Becoming the Editor of this iconic publication.

Championing and empowering women through telling their stories is something that’s powered my career, andand newspapers, discussing the issues of the day while doing the weekend quiz together, or creating cakes from and bonding over a meal, these women shaped and supported me, and taught me to be comfortable in my own skin. Just like Rebecca Gibney who, in our cover story (page 24), offers sage advice to her younger self: To have “authenticity, integrity, kindness and compassion”. Rebecca also opens up about her new TV show and watching her son, Zac, embark on his own acting career.
