Over Heritage weekend this year we were invited to the Jimny Gathering in Clarens. The weekend didn’t start off with a drive to Clarens, though. We were lucky enough to be part of a small media group to take the brand-new five-door Jimny on its maiden road trip in South Africa – so, we were flown down to Durban to hop into a bunch of fresh-off-the-boat Jimny five-doors! The idea was for us to drive to Clarens from there.
