HOW DID YOUR CAREER DEVELOP?

I first went to sea in 1995 as a Deck Cadet on marine aggregate dredgers, qualifying in 1998. I then joined Hoverspeed as Second Officer/Flight Engineer on the SRN Mk.4 hovercraft, before joining P&O in late 2000. In 2003 I returned to Hoverspeed as First Officer and in 2004 was promoted to Master. Since then, I have either been at sea as Master, or ashore as a pilot
