HOW DID YOUR CAREER AT SEA START?

I attended Indefatigable School and then Pangbourne College, both of which have strong links with the sea. I applied to various shipping companies, and was accepted by South Coast Shipping (now Cemex Marine) in 1996 working on aggregate dredgers Sand Harrier and Sand Kite.
