‘I feel more at peace than ever’

Natalie Trice is turning 50 next May. She lives with her husband Oliver, 49, and their two sons Eddie, 16, and Lucas, 14, in Devon.

Even now, two decades on, I still remember the absolute meltdown I had when I turned 30. I had a great job in television but I wasn’t married and didn’t have children. All of those life milestones I felt I should have met had eluded me and I was in a complete panic.

Back then, life was really different. There was no online dating and no one really talked about the pressure a woman’s biological clock put on her.
