WHAT THE 2024 UPDATES MEAN FOR YOU

The R&A and the USGA have announced the first updates to the World Handicap System (WHS) since 2020 due to the surge in the game’s popularity and the increase in nine-hole rounds being played.

The new WHS has allowed golfers to travel freely and accurately compare themselves regardless of where they find themselves in the world.

As part of an ongoing review, the governing bodies have continued emphasising accuracy, consistency and equity.
