HOW TO HIDE WRINKLESS AROUND THE EYES

The skin around the eyes is thin and delicate, making it prone to sensitivity. It is also often the first place we begin to notice fine lines.

Treat this area with care. Premature ageing can often be caused by overzealous make-up removal, or by using products that are too aggressive and harsh.

We all know that cucumber slices can be refreshing and cooling, especially after a night out, but there are several other natural methods for giving the eyes a boost, too:

Aloe vera is packed with antioxidants and amino acids, improving the tone of skin, and helping to prevent crow's feet.

Egg whites are also effective at firming the skin under the eyes. Try this method: whip the whites of two eggs to a stiff consistency, add a few drops of witch hazel (a natural skin tightener), apply to the eye area, leave for 15 minutes, then rinse off. Repeat daily for three to four days and you're sure to see a marked improvement.

Thick or heavy concealers should be avoided as we age. These inevitably sit in lines, making the issue more apparent. Try switching to a liquid concealer and be sure to blend with a firm patting motion instead of dragging the skin.
