Asked during the week about the play of “The Big General,” a.k.a., Elandon Roberts the play-calling inside linebacker, Cam Heyward said this:
“In his old age, with all that gray hair on the top of his head, he brings a lot of wisdom to the group.”
Heyward was joking, unlike 10 days earlier following the game Roberts played against the Cleveland Browns. He made 15 tackles, consistently buzzed the flats, and overall played as if he was far from “old age.”
