How to chip from different lies

Here we have three very different lies. The ball sitting right on top of the grass (photo above left) has lots of air and grass under itlob wedge. By using a straighter-faced club there’s less chance of the ball riding up the grooves. Use a narrow stance with a chip-and-run technique that keeps the wrists out of it – so a simple action to catch it on the third or fourth groove on the clubface.
