JAMES WHITAKER and eight-year-old Just Call Me Henry have had a promising 2023, taking wins at Hickstead and Horse of the Year Show (HOYS). They ended the year with an accomplished victory, topping strong rivals in the winter grand prix.

The pair demonstrated their ability against the clock when they headed the Stoner Jewellers Vase at the Derby meeting and took the grade C title in Birmingham, so when they came into their final jump-off of the year drawn last of nine, the advantage was theirs.
