BURIED IN THE SNOW

Trudging around in the thick, white snow, on the outside it looked like a perfect festive scene.

But little Ethan Hauschultz wasn’t building snowmen or sledding.

Instead, the seven-year-old had been forced to do laps of the back garden as a punishment, where he lived with his guardians Timothy and Tina Hauschultz, and their 14-year-old adopted son Damian – Ethan was Timothy’s great-nephew.

His crime?

Failing to recite 13 bible verses that day.

As he fought his way through muddy slush in the foot of snow that had been dumped on the Wisconsin town, Ethan carried a 44-pound tree
