CALIFORNIA LAWMAKERS ARE ESTABLISHING PROTECTIONS FOR employees who choose to consume cannabis at their leisure and on their own time. Assemblymember Bill Quirk (D-Hayward) introduced Assembly Bill 2188, a bill aimed at ending job discrimination in California, based on off-the-clock cannabis use.
