Upping the ante

Exercise physiologists are especially fond of testing and measuring in their laboratories. Two of their most popular exercise tests involve measuring gas analysis, that is, VO2 (where ‘V’ is for volume and ‘O2’ is oxygen), and blood-lactate concentration.
