COMPETITION DRIVER MAX VERSTAPPEN

ARD TO NAME A MORE CRUSHINGLY complete performance this year than that of Max Verstappen – in any branch of motorsport, let alone at its pinnacle. The Dutchman’s domination hasn’t made for a classic Formula 1 season but it’s an achievement up there with the greats in wider sporting history as well as motorsport itself. Perhaps the scariest thing is that it’s rarely looked as if Verstappen has broken sweat all year, while mistakes have been few and far between.
