Welcome Letter

AT THIS TIME of year when I was a child, Christmas cards would start arriving for Mum and Dad from family friends around Australia. Not only was there a card, but folded inside was a letter containing a year’s worth of information, catching us up on where they were living now, where they’d been on holidays, and even if a beloved pet had died.
