SLING IT

The sling bag is nothing new. It’s been around since the earliest days of concealed carry, when young men in sandals could easily hide their EDC items such as a rock, some water, and a fish.

Since then, there has been a large resurgence in off-body carry options, such as the fanny pack (aka the “manny pack”), backpacks made specifically for carrying firearms, and sling bags.

Fortunately for those of us living in these modern times, materials technology, the evolution of ideas, and advancement of design capabilities have given us some nifty options to choose from in the off-body carry arena.

As much as we want to carry on-body, certain scenarios will undoubtedly arise where using your holster alone won’t be practical. It’s up to you to decide what the next best option is. As mentioned above, one of those options that has more storage than a fanny pack but is a little more low profile than a full-size backpack is
