All eyes on me, please…

I have been kicking around on the paranormal scene for quite a time. As the years go by, I seem to notice more and more boasting, self-promotion, and egotism. For all I know, this could be happening . Maybe people at golf clubs, drama groups, colleges, churches, and choral societies are “getting up themselves” just as much as the paranormal/UFO brigade and their critics. But I’ll confine my comments to the field I know best, citing some typical manifestations and one or two of the more egregious variants. However, to avoid causing offence, I’ll refrain from naming names.
