WELCOME

Thirty years ago, in November 1993, the very first issue of Wanderlust was published, the brainchild of Lyn Hughes and the late Paul Morrison. It was a different time back then, as travel was just on the verge of becoming a recreational activity and de rigueur for many people around the world.

Thirty years later, both and travel itself have evolved greatly. In this issue, whilst we do go back to look at the events that have shaped both us and our travel lives these past three decades (p32), we are very much focused on the future, as we ask what will in travel bring (p148)?
