Mother of five Willemien Viljoen from Forest Town in Johannesburg firmly believes that parents are the mirrors in which children see themselves. A huge part of our role as parents is to model our values to them. “And that’s a good thing,” she says, “when we know that their little eyes are watching and learning from our every move - and that nothing goes unnoticed we are so much more aware of living out the values we want our children to have.” This knowledge should inspire us to be our best selves and true role models in front of our children.
