A LOST KENTISH COACHBUILDER

Some 50 years ago, back in 1973 my obsession with motor transport took a slight deviation when, with my wife we joined the newly formed Erith & Belvedere Local History Society in our home town. This soon provided dividends as some of the ‘leading lights’ had connections with the Borough’s local studies department providing ‘surplus’ copy photos of local trams, early commercials, including steam wagons and charabanc outings, etc, which I still cherish.
