The Amiga version came on 11 floppy disks, which may prove a challenge if you want to pick up a fully tested, working copy for its £75 asking price. The next sequel, Curse Of Monkey Island, lacked involvement from the original development team but has many fans, including series creator Ron Gilbert who incorporated aspects of the story in his 2022 comeback success Return To Monkey Island.
