Scootering

Technically speaking…

In our November issue we broke the news that Mau was retiring and obviously, that raised the question of where Scootering would go from there. It’s a question I’ve been pondering all month.

What I can say but we’ve plenty of exciting features planned. Since Mau told me he was retiring I’ve been concentrating on the technical section of the magazine and as you’ll see from page 92 onwards, we’ve unveiled not one, but two, major technical projects. With the addition of a Lambretta Series 2 and Royal Alloy GT125 to our existing scooters we now have the most comprehensive test fleet of any scooter-related media outlet anywhere in the world. Of course having a fleet is great but to conduct tests we need facilities, and in appointing Dan as our technical editor we’ve now got access to our own dyno and workshops. Try finding that anywhere else.
