s (in German, ) Op 82 is a set of nine short solo piano pieces composed by Schumann between 1848 to 1849, first published in 1850-1851 in Leipzig by Bartholf Senff. The Prophet Bird (Vogel als Prophet) requires the ability to produce a beautiful tone, a wide range of dynamics plus oodles of imagination.
