New homes for HSTs

THE demise of the CrossCountry High Speed Train fleet and reduction in requirements for Great Western Railway Castle 2+4 sets (RE330) has resulted in a plethora of moves of redundant stock in recent weeks.

With the previous CrossCountry contract expiring on October 15, all the XC fleet had to leave Laira by that date, resulting in a mass exodus of vehicles.
