Captain Dwight Soupen, recently retired from the Durban Metropolitan Police, has a remarkable memory about Chatsworth.
He arrived in Bayview as a toddler in 1962 and remains in the same district as a pensioner. His erstwhile neighbour is the Reverend Alvin Sigamoney, also retired from another branch of law enforcement, the Anglican Church.
