THE Mid Essex Budgerigar Society annual open show was this year held in memoriam of our late member, Kevin Pestell. It took place on Sunday, September 10, at Blackmore Village Hall in Essex, close to Chipping Ongar. It was a somewhat bittersweet day for me.
