Star Letter

Do something different!

Just back from a brilliant CMM Stafford Show, thanks for that – but not for the weather on the Saturday, but I guess that wasn’t your fault…

Anyways, the reason for this letter is that while I loved seeing the ‘normal’ classics, I prefer to see the stuff that’s a little more left of centre, if you know what I mean. So, while it was nice to see all the (takes deep breath) Kawasaki triples; Yamaha two-stroke parallel twins (and the odd V-twin); Honda’s V4s (inline fours, too); Suzuki’s four-cylinder GS/GSXs; Ducati’s desmo twins; Laverda’s triples;stand, the Yamaha GTS1000A, and I was gutted that the editor’s much-fabled Aprilia Tuono was nowhere to be seen – especially as he claims to be selling it: can’t have been a better place to get shot of it, if it’s as good as it looks.
