Freshwater West is located at the western end of Pembrokeshire’s spectacular Castlemartin Peninsula. It’s a classic west facing Atlantic storm or surf beach, which has the added advantage that it also offers excellent rough ground fishing on its southern flank.
When fishing a surf beach timing is everything. The absolute prime time is invariably either just before or just following a decent onshore blow.
