Tyresome tale

My wife and I bought our first-ever motorhome, a 2018 Auto-Sleeper Corinium Duo, in January 2020, right before the world changed as a result of Covid-19. Following the pandemic, we use Lilo, (named after Disney's Lilo & Stitch) at least once a month. We love our time away, never going particularly far, but then again, living in the West Country, we already live in the best part of the world.

Our motorhome already had an uprated weight allowance when we bought her, because of all the extras the original owner added to her. Plated at four tonnes, this information was advised to all the firms I called to get prices for our 225/75 R 16 CP tyres. I also wanted all-season tyres just in case we wanted to travel to the Continent over the winter and didn't want the added expense of additional tyres for any potential future trips.

Kwik Fit was the cheapest option and by quite a considerable margin for the Continental tyres we had researched and ultimately opted for. Kwik Fit also offered a mobile service (at a small additional cost), which suited us as it made life a little bit easier, and who doesn't like that?
