The second generation VW Amarok ute is arguably more Ford than Volkswagen.
Priced from $50,990 for the Core manual, or $52,990 for the 10-speed automatic, Amarok comes out of a Ford factory in South Africa and shares its structure, chassis hardware, electronics and drivetrains with the Ford Ranger.
Some elements are unique to Volkswagen, though, including the seats and most of the design, inside and out.
