WEIGHT CONSIDERATIONS

LETTER OF THE MONTH

Hi John,

We got our first caravan recently and are planning our shakedown trip. We're going to head to a weigh station so we can get the slip to show we're not overweight. But should we pack the stuff we know we might need, or fill it up entirely for the max figure and work backwards?

And what happens on longer road trips where we might add or use up weight? Are weighbridge slips still valid or do you need to get them done frequently?
