SHIFTS IN THE CANNABIS CONSUMER

HE QUESTION, “WHAT to have only three answers: stoner, sometimes, and never. As prohibition continues to dissipate we now see three major changes regarding the universe of cannabis consumers. First, consumers have more product choices. Second, people who would not consider use under prohibition are trying cannabis in a regulated market. And third, consumers are differentiating their use as being medical, recreational, or for many, a mixture of both. These new dimensions have resulted in the ability to take a more nuanced approach to describing who consumers are, what products they favor, and what their motivations are for use.
