FOLLOWING his dazzling return to the US at Monterey in June 1967, Hendrix and the Experience stayed in the US to play shows on both coasts including an awkward tour supporting The Monkees. was still, available on You Tube, which traces Hendrix’s uncertain progress through the US from Monterey to LA with contributions from Michelle Phillips and others who were present in the crowd.
