HOW TO HUNT BIG BUCKS ON SMALL PROPERTIES

I was dumbfounded. I’d just overheard a well-known habitat consultant telling a potential client that he should be able to kill 160” bucks every year off his Central Wisconsin 40 acre property, and this was before the consultant even knew much more than the acreage. I quickly understood that the cookie cutter plans he pumped out on the spot for his paying clients wasn’t the only reason so many of his past clients had come for my consulting services, before I’d retied. He was also creating extremely unrealistic results, to lure the cash out of their pockets.

There are a lot of challenges to hunting small properties. Frankly, the wiggle room for error typically just isn’t there and the opportunities can be few and very far between. Luckily, there are also things we can do to help balance the scales a smidge.
