Royal Air Force motorsport teams enjoy a proud record of success in the 750 Motor Club’s annual Holly Birkett Six-Hour Team Relay race, first run in 1951 at Silverstone. On Saturday, this year’s roundel-carrying squadron secured the service’s sixth victory in the blue-riband handicap since Ian Fletcher led RAFMSA Team Flywheel to top honours in 2007.
