1 Water by Tyla (21), blends pop, ama-piano and R&B and the track surged to viral status on Tik-Tok after the singer posted videos of herself dancing to the song. Last month the hashtags #TylaWater and #TylaWaterChallenge had a combined 448 million views on the platform.
2 The Water dance challenge on Tik-Tok was created by Tyla’s choreographer, Litchi.
“Usually, this dance style is not paired with this type of music, but I felt it would fit so well,” Tyla told Time magazine. “We ended up trying this, and it looked so good that we started performing it with water.”
