ARE FREQUENT FLYER CARDS AND LUGGAGE TAGS NOW ELECTRONIC ONLY?

Flying Blue, Air France/KLM's loyalty progamme, is now no longer sending out an annual nicely packaged card and accompanying luggage tags. You simply have an electronic version that you have to show on a phone.

Are forum members finding the same with their frequent flyer programmes?

This is not proving easy when travelling with codeshare airlines, for instance Qantas or Malaysia Airlines, as they simply are not interested in something on your phone. I don't blame them, as it's easy to create an electronic version. But surely it's just cost-cutting?
