SET THE CHRISTMAS TABLE!

FPP & APPLIQUÉ PROJECT

BEHIND THE QUILT

USE YOUR GIFT!

“So many times when we try to think of handy cover gifts for you, the reader, we try to come up with something you can easily keep in your workbox and that offers several uses.

“Here, we have a set of circle templates – all marked with 90˚ and 60˚ angles. This means you don’t just get circles in sizes 2in, 2½in, 3in, 3½in, 4in, 4½in, 5in, and 5½in (no more searching for round objects to fit the bill), but you can also use them to mark projects evenly with placement points. You will no longer need to fold things into thirds or quarters – just centre a circle and mark the reference points. This table runner was also quilted using the 60˚ markings on the templates to create interlocking circles.

“For this festive project, I have used a little bit of FPP and some easy circle appliqué to make Christmas baubles. I’ve laid them out as a table runner, but you could use them for table mats or a hanging.” – Paula Hope
