    I enjoyed the apprentice feature published in the September 2023 issue (N-Photo 154) on the red kites at Gigrin Farm. I’m very new to photography (I started with a Z fc in August 2022) but I have spent a lot of my time photographing red kites this past year.

    I recently upgraded to a Z 8, so it’s good to see the camera settings they used and apply them myself. I agree with all the advice given in the article, but thought I’d add a few points of my own…
