The Halloween Monster

The murder scene was grisly.

Christina ‘Ashlee’ Rucker, 30, lay dead, shot at close range in the head. Her sister Lisa Rucker, 28, who also took a bullet to the head, was still alive, but barely.

When detectives arrived at the flat where the sisters lived with their two young sons – they found both women in a pool of blood, their traumatised boys by their sides.

‘Mummy, please don’t die,’ Lisa’s four-year-old son whimpered.

While Ashlee’s nine-yearold boy cowered over his mother’s body, frightened tears streaming down his cheeks.

Halloween is dubbed the scariest night of the year,
