LAST NOVEMBER, WE HIGHLIGHTED more than 100 people shaping St. Louis, from business to benefactors, sports to startups, media to medicine. That list included many of the pioneers who've worked tirelessly for decades to push our region forward: Maxine Clark, Kathy Osborn, Nancy Kranzberg, Emily Rauh Pulitzer, to name just a few.

The feature also noted some of the ways that history has been made at the ballot box in recent years.
