“How have Braga risen so much in Portuguese and European football in the last 20 years?

For a full answer, I would have to give a very long response, but to sum up I’d say we’ve had three major cycles during this period. The first job was to recover and stabilise the club, both in football terms and financially, at the same time making it more autonomous. Sporting Clube de Braga was a club dominated by political and business interests and this had to stop to fulfil our vision.
