The hornbill challenge

SOFTBILLS

THE breeding season is over and the moult has been in full swing which takes its toll on birds. Plenty of additives will assist with feather growth and I swear by BirdCare Feather Up. It helps to bring birds through a difficult moult.

By the time you read this, the show season will be underway and there are still big shows to attend for all softbill species, such as the Suffolk Softbill Show (full details in the October 4 issue.)

A big blow wasstart up. Recently I heard of three pairs of royal starlings (), one pair of which was priced at £2.5k. That is some money to find.
